Meridian Funeral Home has got talent!

Many of you will have met Jacqueline Linn when you have had dealings with us at Meridian Funeral Home.

What you probably do not know is that in her spare time Jacqueline enjoys painting.

Jacqueline describes herself as a “self-taught painter” who enjoys painting many different types of subjects. Whatever and where ever she finds the inspiration.

The featured painting was inspired by the Christmas theme.

I asked Jacqueline what her own thoughts are of her painting, to which she replied, “Peaceful and calming. I hope that people are able to lose themselves in the picture and give a little Christmas comfort in these hard times.”

Sadly after a short illness, Maureen Cheston aged 83 of Brown Street Chorley passed away in the Royal Preston Hospital, on Tuesday 15th December 2020. Maureen was a much loved Mum to Michael (deceased), Stephen, Josephine, and Sharon. Mother in Law to Rod, Barbara, Lesley, Martin and Taz. A much missed Nan to Tracy, Mark, Robert, David, Gillian (deceased), Kim, Harry, Alfie and Great Grandma to Elliot. Maureen will be a much missed friend and neighbour to everyone who knew her.

At Meridian Funeral Home we are grateful to receive many kind messages from our customers.

Here is one sentence I have selected from one customer’s thank you card.

“Thankyou so much for your care and compassion and the wonderful service you provide.”
